Folks at Spyderco, just a matter of curiosity : Sal posted a thread about XXXL shirts being sold for charity. Pardon me for my ignorance, but have you folks ever produced merchandises such as T-Shirts, stickers, patches, mugs or something that a loyal spydernut will spend on?

Samo - Some stuff just came in. T shirts (long sleeve, no pocket, dark blue, "Spyderco" and logo on left breast. Gold embroidery. Short sleeve has pocket.

Dark Blue hat, two styles.

Mugs come and go. We'll put on photos when we get set up. They're at the outlet store.

Hey, count me in for a hat! I would love to have something like that to wear that tells the world what kind of knife I carry. Besides it would be a great opportunity to turn on people to Spyderco. "Hey, nice hat, is that a bug on it? No, its a Spyder! See?" (flick out knife at this point):)

I got to get one of those hat's!
I had allready one, but my wife took it. (I thought it was better to give her the hat than the knife that came in the same parcel... lol)
Greetings

Hi, Sal. As before, I am most interested in an XXXL Tshirt with a pocket and short sleeves. Are any available? Thanks.

Samo....you kidding rite? A trip from Singapore all the way to Golden....wow! Thats a pilgrimage!!!! Still I suppose he'll save a bunch buying from the US compared to SNG Arms or whatever that shop is called in Chinatown....
Hey is the "haze" back in mainland Malaysia? I heard that it was getting bad...

They'll be available through SFO. I'll have to check on sizes & prices. Don't know how to post pics yet. I'll check it out.

Ken - Its for real, the guy runs an outfitter's store in Singapore. He goes to Colorado to source for new stuff. SNG Arms? Arrgh! That place sucks! They have loads of spydies in their showcase, you can find old models which are already out of production. Badly maintained retail outlet. Haze? Its pissing cats and dogs here Ken. The situation had improved tremendously. I covered several peat fires outside Kuala Lumpur two weeks ago. Its all over now...

Samo,
The time that I was working in KL a couple of years ago...most of the haze came over from Indonesia. It was bad though, as I remember it, about 600+ on the scale.
(sorry to digress.....must stop talkin about the weather!)

Ken - The haze was VERY bad in 98. Southeast Asia was in the ruins economically as well. Open burning to clear jungle vegetation on peat soil is the main problem now. Its worse in Sumatra because the fires could not be contained. What kind of work did you do in KL?

I've got a hat and a short sleeved shirt. Like most Spyderco's the quality is top notch. I especially like the message about integrity inside the hat. Nice reminder.
