What's your "sentimental" knife?(pic inside)

Greetings you all :)

It's just a strange thing, in my rotation I have a D4/SE, SS Dragonfly/SE and my trusty SS Cricket/SE and Delica 3/SE

All exept the Cricket and Delica are relatively new and rock solid without any play(so far)

The strange thing is that I still always come back to my Delica 3/SE. The knife is about a year old, has devellopped about half a mm vertical play(man, I wished I didn't hate it that much :( ) over time and has plenty of light surface scratches.

Still I always put that knife back in my pocket where it will stay significantly longer than the others in my rotation.

I wondered if any of you has such a knife.

Just curious.

My SE Tasman Salt. Even though I have come across a few situations where the hawkbill blade has been less than ideal, I still turn to that knife for a vast majority of my cutting needs, and it just keeps going! :D

The only time that I don't carry it is while I'm at work, as I figure that people would get pretty freaked out if I used it.

I have two different knives that fit into the sentimental category. My Caly Jr. ZDP-189 - It's the go to knife. Always in my pocket, when I have another knife on my I'm always looking for the caly for some reason.

The other one is my Almite Navigator. It was my second spyderco after my ladybug. So it was the first clip-it. I don't use it much anymore for the reason above, but it's got the most character (scratches, dings, gouges) out of all my knives.

That one's easy...my 440V PE Military that is about 7 years old now. It was a gift from my wife and I EDC'd it for almost 5 years before putting it into "semi-retirement."

My Delica 4 PE FRN is my favorite Spydie. It has the most dings and scratches, I love it's all around usefulness, and it, to me epitomizes the Spyderco look and feel - I love it! :D

- best wishes, Jazz.

My sentimental knife is a SS Endura 1 SE. Bought this knife around 2000 and it quickly became my favorite EDC. I took it to Afghanistan in 2006- but somewhere there I put it in my Field Message Pad and unfortunately totally forgot about it- I thought I had just plain lost the darn thing. I moved on and bought an Endura 4 SS SE in early 2007. When I moved out of the barracks in July 07 I was rummaging through my endless mountains of Army Kit and found my FMP. I noticed it had a strange bulge in it, so I opened it and there it was...I had put it in my FMP so "I wouldn't lose it" Now I can't find my FMP...

myfirst "G2" FRN endura from 92. It's still EDC'able with intact clip. I couldn't afford a worker back then, which is really what I wanted but the more affordable FRN Endura worked out pretty well. I've upgraded with new models but I've always had an endura around since ( usually in my pocket). Joe

It is now retired- I was lucky enough to have Dialex make me an electronic effigy of my companion of days gone by... ;)

Day in and day out I find myself reaching for either my PE or SE D4. Despite my new stretch, which I love, I keep coming back to these two. When I want something a little dressier I grab my black quince kopa my wife gave me for christmas.

Hello Spydutch . My C44 Dyad was my first Spyderco and still seems to find a way into my pocket , just a very useful around knife , love having two blades in one package , my favorite knife . My wife and buddy helped get me a Adventura last year and I dearly appreciate this knife because it came from the heart . Regards my friend MG2

Sentimental Knife....I have several:

Beretta fixed blade Loveless with Quince wood handles (gifted from a friend)

MOP Buck (gifted from a friend)

SAK (that my father carried before he died)

SE Delica with the plastic clip (my first Spyderco)

G10 SE Civilian, I lusted after this knife for several years but could not find any logical reason to buy it. The blade is to long to legally carry. Hawkbills are illegal to carry where I live. I finally purchased it just because I like it. I love the way it feels in my hand, the intricate grind, the fit and finish. She's just like a beautiful woman, all the curves in the right places, yet very dangerous. If any knife could be described as sexy it would be the Civilian. F

For someone else it may be a tool. For me it's sentimental.

My sentimental Spyderco knife is an original Remote Release that I carried while in the Army.
