I see it will be on the way soon. The Mili is a super knife and if it sells, make more, not a bad company policy.
S90V? This has to be a collectors knife, surely no one will EDC this knife.
No one will try to sharpen??
Enjoy!
but:
Where are the WILKINS, LIL'TEMP, revised PARA?

:spyder: I edc my bg-42 millie, I'm sure many will this one. I'd rather they use a less expensive handle material but de gustibus non est disputandem. :spyder:

I recieved mine yesterday. I'm still trying to decide wether to return it or go ahead and use it. F&F on it isn't up to BG42 or CPM D2 standards except sharpness. If I return it it would be the first ever in over a hundred Spydercos and every variation of millie except the ATS 34.. Joe

I'd say that if you've handled that many blades and this is the first one to make you think that way, then back into the box with it: it's clearly not good enough.

CF, unfortunately for some and fortunately for others

Mine is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, and it will (at least temporarily) replace the BG-42 Military in my pocket now. As for sharpening, I have yet to find a steel that impresses the diamonds ;)

I agree, completely.

BTW, it should be disputandum, not 'disputandem'. A bona fide comment.

Just look up the BG-42 CF Millie- the S90 one probably looks the same. ;)

Definitely send it back and get a replacement. Mine's great. Every bit as good as my D2 and CF S30V Milis.....

Life is too short....

From my impressions (played with it a for about 5-10 minutes, decided to postpone buying it until the owner could get better ones in, the current batch was a little shredded by purolater)

It looks exactly like the BG-42 i have, and probably just as sharp if not sharper.

They were very stiff out of the box though, and i dunno, i guess maybe i'm just spoiled by the BG-42 and D2 ones, cause it didn't "wow" me right away.

Still a solid knife though, but I got my BG-42 for 177ish, and this one is 230, so still have to think about it.

I saw the price and gasped (well...cursed). :D I'll stick with my "boring" D2 millie.

However, if I had bought a s90v millie, I would definitely use it. Could be an empty statement though...

A little smooth-kote and it works like a charm. Haven't used it much yet but I do like it very much!

I'm with you on the price though. OTOH, NGK is sold out so there must be demand for that price point.

:spyder: Edge holding is my guess, for people who don't want to sharpen their knives? :spyder:

I'm hoping edge holding, for those of use who actually use our knives and don't have time to sharpen them ten times a day ;)
