Military D2?

#1

Post by Razor »

Should a man get one? I have always liked D2,Dozier. I have a CFBG42 and love the knife. Does a man need another military? Think it would be neat to have one in D2, Bg42, and S30V, and S90V. Am I crazy?

I have one in BG-42, D-2, 440V and ATS-34. I plan to get the S90V and S30V soon. It only makes you crazy if you carry all of them at once (like I have been known to do ;) )

You only need another Military if there is one you don't have yet :D
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

i have the BG42, D2, S30V millies and the S90V one is on its way
if Spyderco ever releases a military with black S30V blade and orange G10 handle I would buy at least 3
a millie with stop lock wouldn't be bad either

If Sal ever made a Millie in ZDP-189 (carbon fibre, G-10, even FRN, I don't care).

I'd buy it, no questions asked.

Yes, a man (that would be you :) ) should get one. I also have a D2 (my first one), S30V CE and a BG-42 on the way. I also "need" to get a PE S30V and will most likely get a S90V. IMO, the Millie is one of the knives you just can't have too many of. :D
I prefer to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.

Definitely! The D2 Millie was my first, which caused me to buy my second - teh BG42. They have caused me to to continue to look for more. The FG is so different, and the D2 is great. IT's not overpriced, so grab one :D

As of this morning I decided to actually carry my D2 Military/SE I got from Sal(after much consideration that is since it is the only fully serrated D2 Milie :) )

I just love the knife. Like Sal took my hand to make the handle ;)

My other Milie is the regular S30V/SE.

I will buy a Military anytime in any steel as long as it comes in full Spyderedge ;)

I got my first Military in D2 yesterday. I love it. The question I can't answer is why I want more. One should be enough, but I am eyeing NGK for the S90V they got in yesterday. To many Spydies, and not enough money. Torture.

i just called them on a different knife...there is a waiting list for the s90v's...so unless you are on it already i dont think you will be able to get one from them ..at least for awhile.

Ordered a D2 today. Can't wait to get it. Wonder how a full serrated S30V would be to go with it?

Only 3 now, but he's getting more. Don't tease the nice Americans, you know Jay doesn't ship to the U.S. :)
