:spyder: :) :D
I got my first in the mail today and I must say WOW.It is awesome and it came really sharp. After a few strokes on a leather stropp it is scary sharp, the grip is confortable for my hand and she just looks cool.I know tou have all seen a stretch before but you haven't seen mine.lol.
I think a veil or persian may be coming soon. :spyder:
Great knife choice, John. I used mine this past fall to completely disassemble an antelope out in Wyoming. It's a very reliable knife for hunting for everyday carry. :)

Great choice for your first spyder. I think the original Stretch is a great knife. Lots of people don't like the SS with Kraton inserts, but I find it very comfortable in the hand, as well as aesthetically pleasing. I don't actually have one yet, but have handled them many times. I'm currently on the lookout for one though.
Once again, great knife, great pics and welcome to the forum.

It most certainly does, but I had already previously voided the warranty with a 130 grain Winchester Ballistic Silvertip bullet! :) :D

I love my Stretch. It has a small ammount of blade play in both directions, but I can't complain for 'winning' it from a forum contest. :)
It's a bit large for my EDC, but as every other :spyder: it has great ergos.
Not too fond of the Krayton inserts because they are getting wrecked by my pants or something, it also makes it a bit harder to remove from the pocket, which could be good or bad.
Congratulations and enjoy your new fine knife. I like more the lightweight version myself, but that's merely because I simply have a weak spot for CF and ZDP.

.270? I used the silvertip once on a average buck, the bullet blew apart on a shoulder hit and failed to penetrate. He went down allright but I am not a fan of the silvertip.Perhaps antelope are be a better prospect for the silvertip.jmho

Thanks everyone for your welcome wishes.
.270 absolutely! So far I've dropped two antelope and a whitetail buck with 130 grain Ballistic Silvertips. All were one shot kills and I've been very pleased with the bullet's performance.
