To answer your question specifically, from one pic to the next I epoxied the parts together and drilled the pin holes.

One of these days I'll do a video, I just haven't had the time to put one together lately. I put together a pretty complete photo description of the process for a different Mule back on page 54 of this thread. The materials are slightly different but the process is the same. Check it out and if you have more questions let me know. If you're interested in this stuff, I suggest you pick up a Mule and some materials and make yourself a handle. It's a fun project and quite satisfying to use a handle you made yourself. If you keep things simple and use one piece of material for the handle it's very easy. If you decide to do one yourself, I'd be willing to help you with advice and all of the little specific things you'll want to know for each step along the way.

I made an Oak handle for a knife that I ground out of a piece of steel that I had laying around. I have no idea what kind of steel it is. The handle looks like you'd expect a handle made by someone who has never made a handle before to look. I'll take a picture of it when I get home.
I also started to make an Oak handle for my Delica. Then I took the Delica apart and said to my self "**** no! the is no way I'll be able to fit those components in my handle".

Still, I look at the handles that some of you guys made and I really get an itch to try again.

Here are some mules including a pretty rare one. I am missing two at the moment (#2 and #4, see signature!). Once I get them all, I might put handles on them and find some way to display them, maybe a wall mount or something. Not sure yet, will decide once I complete the collection. Until then, I'll just keep in the boxes.

Nice collection! I'm missing a couple Mules as well and doubt I'll ever get that elusive 204P one. I've also considered making some sort of display as well, though I need to make handles for all of them first.

Just an FYI, it's against forum rules to post WTB notices, even if they're only in your signature. There are other forums (bladeforums.com) and several Facebook groups where you can ask for people to sell you knives.

Thank you! I just picked up the MT02P mule yesterday, so I am down to just missing one now.

New mule team blade coming out April 12th!

This is not a new mule team blade.

MT11(M390) with a bit of surgery.

First Mule I've done in a few years. We moved and it took way too long to get the garage set up so I could work. The Mule is M390, and this is the third try with this one. These scales are G11 Garolite and olive drab G10. The pins are white G10. I think the halos around the pins were the result of drilling the holes too fast. Nice to get back to working on knives again!

This is an LC200N steel..MT..25 is it? I've gotten a couple recently. I also love the I think MY22, RW34 steel! I'll see if it lets me post. (File was too large)
This LC200N is adorned with a sweet set of 3D cocobolo scales I got from Halpern Titanium. I like it a lot, clips tightly into the Boltaron sheath, and it's keeping a scary sharp edge on it!

My edc is a PM2, with black S30V partially serrated blade,and G10 Camo scales, and I love it.

Halpern Titanium scales from the flat scales/not 3D section for MT handle options. This type is called Silver Twill, looks a little like carbon fiber to me. I really like it, clips nicely into a Spyderco Boltaron sheath. I foresee years of of good usage for this tool!

Congrats on your 2 custom Mule handles! Nice work. I like the double liners on the blue G10 handle. :) I'm curious..did you finish the olivewood with anything or is it just shiny from polishing?

So I am a new member here.
I just bought my first Mule Team.
I just received an MT26 with A11.
I love the fact that Spyderco has provided so many excellent steels for this knife.

So not only is this my first MT it is also the first knife I am doing a handle for.

So in my personal fashion I am going all in.
I tend to jump in the deep end and this one is no exception.

I will be doing Shokwood it is called #1 Not a Color Way.
It is Buckeye Burl with mostly black and some blue resin.
I am also doing medalions and a lanyard hole in brass.

I will be taking it slow as I can be a perfectionist and I am not happy when
I make mistakes.

Look forward to sharing when it is done.

I received the Shokwood today along with the other supplies.
