I love that sheath (and knife) a whole lot! That's nice work with the snap at the indent.

Yes, both the Moran Drop Point and Trailing Point orignally came with very nice leather sheaths. For those who consider it a Spyderco ;) there was also one available as an extra cost option for the Ramco Laguiole. Gave my Moran DP to an old hunting buddy, but here's a couple shots of the TP and the Laguiole...

BTW, that sheath Mr. Ughetti made is very handsome. Definitely more appropriate for a knife of the Street Beat's quality than that plastic trash that's currently in vogue.

En effet, the Street Beat deserves such a beautiful sheath. And AFAIK André Ughetti is one of France's best sheathmakers.

Beautiful knives and sheaths, Paul and Arzh. And I totally agree that a nice leather sheath beats these plastic things any day.

I have both the Bill Morans but, unfortunately I discovered Spyderco too late to get the leather sheath versions. I wish Spyderco would offer the leather sheaths for sale as an upgrade item. In fact, that goes for all :spyder: fixed blades. Imagine the Rock Salt with a beautiful black leather sheath embossed with Spyderco and Schempp on the face. :D That would rock!

By the way Paul, do you perhaps have a photo of the other side of the Moran sheath? I can't seem to find one by searching here or the Internet.

Cheers,
Chris
