Not planned right now. Sal gave us a "perhaps" for future runs, but I say don't hold your breath.

Hi Michael,

"limited" production means that we can't make as many as we may want. The skills required to make certain models are great, take many years to learn, and the capacity for a factory to make that model is limited to a certain amount per month. Usually about 200 pcs per month.

Models like the Stretch2, Caly3 (especially in CF), E4 & D4 in G-10, Micro Dyad, P'kal, Civilian, etc. are generally limited to about 200 pcs per month.

"Sprint" runs are a re-make of a model that we've made in the past. We can make a short run, (500 - 2,000) with a different handle material or color, or an upgrade in steel, but no new tooling is required.

The G-10 E4 has been my EDC for the past few days. Gail is carrying the G-10 D4. They're very nice pieces for carry and use. The G-10 is USA made and shipped to Seki.

I must admit that the impetus for this venture was promted by our valued small group of Spyderco forumites.

Those of you that have used full flat VG-10 know the cut. We hope you will enjoy and appreciate the effort that the US & Seki Spyderco team has put into this design.

Spyderco/Sal really seem to care about and listen to their customers/fans. That's why Spyderco is the only knife I will buy, except for SAKs :D

D4 is my favorite design ever. The US-made G-10 is a nice touch, and thanks for the flat grind!

Er...ah... since you have been edc the G-10 E4 for the past few days and Gail is carrying the G-10 D4... would that mean... you know... that there are any more o' these fine knives lying about for sale? I'm just saying that if the two of you are packing the latest and greatest, maybe a few pointy steel brothers and sisters might have come along for the ride.
