just saw this on another knife forum (great forum BTW) i think it's a great spyderlike design, really like it, and if you wonder about the spyderhole, this one is not for sale so it's OK.
it's like a combo of a salsa and a lava.

Ditto

Although I'm really curious what a "Slava" looks like

Hmm. Interesting design, if a little unoriginal. Looks like a Mini Lava, but I would think that a handle that small would make it hard to get the slicing action that a leaf-shaped blade is designed for.

I don't know, it really looks like a cross between a lava and a mouse to me, I love it. It's amazing how it looks like that huge blade won't even fit into the little handle, I guess it dosen't have much room to stretch :p

I have a mouse 2 and it has a nice handle for a little knife, granted not as much as either the lava or the salsa, but it doesn't have the choil either. I always wish I could get a little closer to the blade with that little mouse, and I think that this design allows that easily.

Personally, I would love one :D

Here is a thread about this knife:

The knife is made by Filip de Leeuw. He is from Belgium, and sure makes some great work! If someone needs to get in contact, let me know.

Here are some other great knives:

It's so cute! :)

Looks a bit like a baby Lava.

The only problem is that if someone were to contact the designer about him making a knife, he wouldn't be able to put the Spyderhole in, because it would be copyright infringement.

And that's part of what makes this knife so cool.

It might be the kind of knife that looks better than it works, but if he wants to send it to me I will let everyone know how it works :D
The design is a bit unoriginal, but I barely goT my G-10 Robin back together let alone made a knife from "scratch".
Jokes aside the materials look great, thats a pretty sweet gift. I lucked out, my wife is really happy with her Ladybug. :)

I don't care for the bare frame on the lock side (contrasted with the rare materials on the opposite side) and I don't care for the thumb stud in addition to the Spydie hole. Other than that, it's way cool.

That is a great looking knife. I really admire people who have the artistic skill to make something so pretty, yet still a functional tool.

Thrust me, I have seen his work a few times, and it will definitely work. They always have a decent lock up, zero blade play and a smooth opening/closing.
And beside his good work, he is also a nice guy to deal with.

Here are some pics I took a few weeks ago from his work:

It's a Lava viewed in a fun house mirror, where the proportions are all distorted. :D

A Spyderco it ain't! :p :)

I'm pretty sure Filip would consider a suggestion for a collab. Image
