a good day...(recieved an old calypso jr)

today i recieved my favorite knife ever. truthfully, i don't have a vast spydie collection. but i bought an old calypso jr on ebay, no boyle dent, aus8, stainless steel handle, fully serrated. i got it today, and anyways, long story short, i love this knife. i mean i like my crow a lot. i liked the delica i use to have, and i liked the salt 1 before that. but this knife... is grand. i would have paid 50 plus for this knife if it would have been site seen. the previous owner sharpened it before sending. i shaved my leg with it today. and yes, it is a full SE. i didnt know that was normal. is it? i never could get my delica that sharp, and i got that knife pretty sharp. the stainless steel handle makes for no blade play. the clip came exactly where i want it. its scratchy but only what youd expect from change in your pocket. it has such smooth action. i just see no wrong with this knife. if this knife were a woman, we would have eloped already. thanks spyderco, for making such an outstanding, and apparently, outlasting product.
ps, if anyone's interested - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=014

Dude that's awesome. I think the good old SS and Micarta handled Calypso Jr.'s kick butt. They are some of the finast pocket knives ever made. I've been keeping my eye out for a micarta handled Calypso Jr. I don't really care if it's SE or PE as long as it has a micarta handle.

Now if you don't mind....we need some pictures. ;)

Benny,

Great picture. That bad boy looks like it has had some polishing done to the handle. I love it.

cobrajoe,

Man, that micarta handle is a beauty. Nice pic. ;)
