I am glad I stocked up when Guntings were being made! Not enough to be careless about losing or damaging them, but a decent number, including one with a PE S30V blade! :) I did grab one more from Ebay, and did pretty well, from a seller in the UK who had not established a long history of feedback, so I got it for less than original retail, while a US seller with established feedback would have gotten much more.
slight return...

be careful though, there are a few fake guntings poping up on ebay every now and then.
example of FAKE:

how to spot them:
-the handle design is different, the grooves in the handle are less pronounced.
-the clip looks like a normal one whereas it should look like a "spoon"

I can imagine that a person
that purchased a CRMIPT or a Drone,
later added an edge to it...

I can't say that I've ever fully understood a long Bram post. But one this short, I think I can take a stab at it. "One of a kind" and "pretty special" is the key hints here. I believe it isn't something he would have done. It rather goes against the whole color system of his different pieces.

sorry
I've been ill...and needed to take care of my health.
As I approach 60 I guess I get less vocal...and certain things need to be prioritized..so health first..
it looks like a real blade done in blue..so its either a bad picture -color balance or someone at the end of a run @ the web just used up a set of blue scales...and it got shipped out..my complaints on several SKU#s that go out with red or blue scales but hey I'm not part of the web anymore..
or because a CRMIPT scale is exactly same as live blade it was swapped out..
yes it viloates all I believe in in knife safety color and firearms safety color...
'nuff said to quote Stan Lee
