Below are things that I cut (or have cut) with my Spyderco knives.
- Envelopes
- Thread
- Boxes
- Packing tape
- My beard (when I realize that I missed a spot and I'm already at work)
- Removed adhesive stuff from windows
- Trimmed caulking around one of my front windows
- Sliced bagels in half
- Cut up hot dogs outside for my daughter
- Sliced apples and grapes
- Whittle small oak branches into things
- There is more but I just can't think of any now....

I'll second that! The Nav II is a fantastic knife and a hard worker. :)Jay_Ev wrote:I once used my small Navigator II to chop a cardboard refrigerator box into small, manageable 4" pieces. Don't let the small size of the Nav II mislead you, this knife is quite capable of tasks that others would use an Endura or Military for.

My ZDP-189 Delica 4 CE is my EDC, so it cuts anything that need be, provided said item will not damage the edge.
S30V native CE is on "beater" duty...it thursts for usage on anything :D
I also carry either a ZDP-189 Delica 4 SE #156V or a SS Handle VG-10 Delica SE...I don't cut anything with these...I keep them factory sharp for emergency use only. I haven't had to use either yet.

When at home just light stuff: Mail, cellophane wrapping, threads ect.
At work: tie rips, plastic pallet bands, cardboard and polyethylene film.

I'll cut what ever needs to be cut without completely ruining the blade. The most recient 'out of the ordinary' cut was at a junkyard. I went to pick up some fender for a '91 Subaru Wagon and the last bolt was hidden and we didn't bring the correct extensions, so I cut the front bumber off the fenders with my ZDP Caly Jr.........Like a hot knife through butter.
Later that night I re-gifted my VG-10 Caly to the freind with the Wagon. Told him you never know when you'll need a knife.
