Here's one for starters. At the very least it will give you a good idea of their relative sizes.

Paul,

The bolsters on that Kiwi are just beautiful. Shiny as all heck.

Beautiful blades....I love the Coco Kopa, very nice wood on that Paul.

Arzh, have you seen the back side of both blades? Maybe Paul can shoot the backs of them for your viewin pleasure (and ours :p )

Cheers and good luck with choosing between them. IMHO they are both excellent gentlemans folders.

Sure Dan, but since Brian's already shown what the clip looks like, I decided to shoot one of the back side of two knives in my earlier photo as they look today. That's the Kopa which STR filled the clip screw holes and ground down the bolster for me. Here's how it looks now...

...and here's how it looked with the clip removed before Steve worked his magic...

...heck of an improvement, IMHO.

David, guess you could call the mirror finish bolsters a SFSW 'trademark', they do them on all the Kiwis they customize. They do stand up pretty well to "gentlemanly" carry. The stag one in these photos is one of my favorites, and has been carried a lot in the nearly three years I've had it. The regular production Spyderco Kiwis have brushed finish bolsters.

mine is boring compared to that one...one thing i hate/love about ordering these kopas is that you don't know what kind of look the scales will have (at least on some of the materials)

I prefer the more subdued black quince to be honest. Just have to see what mine's like when it turns up. ;)
