New guy here!
Hello all, I have been around awhile, but just read, never posted. I just got one of my sacred sought after spydies, the large Wegner! Been trying for a coupel of years and finally scored. It's part serr. and I wanted plain but , hey that's life. At least I got one. I do have a question. The liner is over to the right side. No slop, still has perfect lock up, but with my Knifeman OCD, I would like to adjust this out somehow. Does anybody know how to tell if one has the eccentric pivot or not. Thanks , Steve :D

Welcome, bladefrenzy!
Let's see if we can't work around with a little of the vocabulary you're using. When you say "The liner is over to the right side" I can only assume you mean either
A) the blade, when closed, is off to one side
or
B) the liner lock is not kicking into the place you think it should go when it locks up.
In case "A" don't worry about it. OCD or not (I am as well) it ain't gonna change without some significant and unnecessary work, and it might not work as well afterward.
Case "B" could be two different things:
1) The liner is locking too deeply into the blade: This is not a bad thing. Just go with it.
2) The liner is locking too shallow and looks like it might pop out with enough pressure: This could potentially be a bad thing but more than likely is not. In any case, you should NOT try to tune this up yourself. Even if you're used to tinkering with stuff and getting it to work, DO NOT TRY TO TUNE THIS UP YOURSELF! Send it to Spyderco with a letter describing your concerns. They're good people that offer great service. What's more, they built your knife and are more than likely familiar with the problem you're having.
If I have missed the mark, let me know.
Enjoy your stay :D

A very wise man once told me "Eat to live; don't live to eat." ...To my knowledge that's the only stupid thing he's ever said.
