On the dresser, a Native, Harpy, Police model, and Endura all in SS and all SE...these are my EDCs.

Oh, and a Sig Sauer P220 in .45 under the bed just for silly sentimental reasons...remember just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

Ahhhhhhhh, Knife knut gods country, gotta love it.
If a person is stupid enough to get past my but Rotty Sam, and kick in the red oak door with the dead bolt,i'm assuming he's going to do bodily harm to me and mine.
We do things a lil different down here as K. K. pointed out, i sleep with a small neck knife made by CRKT it's not big nor heavy BUT! it's always there 24/7 365, the Bowen 50 special is always in my night stand housing 5 375 grain hard cast lead hotties and a bad temper.
My family has always had several LEO'S and iv'e been advised to just make sure he/she is INSIDE the doorway when he meets Mr Bowen, iv'e never had to shoot anyone but i do have a CCP and would protect my family till my last shot.
As far as what knife is on the dresser that depends on which i was playing with last when i headed to bed, but usually the 50/50 FRN Endura somehow always makes it there.
I should point out that when the grand kids stay over i unload the guns and put em away safe, i'm far more afraid of 1 of them getting hurt than i am of me loosing property. Ron

Within a short reach of my bed is my Glock 10mm model 20, loaded with 16 rounds of 155 grain Federal JHP. I also have my SOG Tigershark nearby, just in-case I run out of bullets..

wow..

you guys must have it harsh. everyone packs so much heat in bed.

i'll admit, I have an ax on my bookshelf beside my bed. but it's only because my dorm room is so small, everything is near my bed!

I'm not worried about being attacked in bed. because my bed is seven feet in the air. they would really have to reach up to get me.
