Welcome to Sal's living room. Kick your shoes off and stay a while :D

I believe the standard fix for the broken FRN clip is to grind off whatever is left and mount a regular steel clip on the resultant flat spot. I understand from STR that the FRN Spyderco uses actually hold threads quite well.

Welcome. Nice to have you.

I agree with what yablanowitz said. I imagine you could cut off the remaining part with a dremel or a fine toothed hack saw blade. You could even use one of those hot wire cutting things that just go through plastic like butta.

We love pictures around here. :)

Wow. Do they cut it off for you or what do they do for $20?

It looks like that was one of the old narrow clip models. Sal said they went through several mold changes, mostly because of the clip, before he went to the steel clip with barrel bolt (the third generation Endura).

get it from the source to be 100% positive but yes they grind it flat and connect a E3 style clip to it.
