Post by ozspyder »

I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world..... my bums elastic, my boobs are plastic ! .......... come on Baribie let's go party !

This is another one of my latest acquisitions courtesy of the infamous Spyderco factory. The Spyderco Delica Pink :P Limited Edition - sprint run of 500 (increased to 1000 total by the end of year) units. Highly collectible, highly desirable by many, especially for conversions of NKP's and for the female population ;)

Barbie knife cont'd

Detail shots showing:

Jimping - much finer jimping on the spine of the blade on the Delica.
Image

Top of blade - grind on the top of the Native is chamfered on both sides, Delica's is flat
Image

Top of handle - here you can see the flat handle of the Delica as opposed to the contoured (3D) handle of the Native III
Image

Black clip - you can see the beautiful contrast of the black against pink. The clip shape reminds me of the front end of a platypus :) . You might also note the nice detail of the lanyard hole going through the clip....nice one :P
Image

Note the all screw construction of the knife. Makes for an excellent molestation base. Once I get a few more of these I think I might try some "touch-ups".

Image

The pink is a very very hot pink. If you are concerned about your manlihood then I'd recommend you stay away from this one. Otherwise it is beautiful ;D

I reckon a black bladed version of this would be an absolute knockout. Matching the black clip :P ;D ;) Sal, howzaboutit ?? black blade, black clip, pink handles.... do a quick photoshop and tell me it is not a hottie :p

Cheers all
Daniel

Our great Australian sunlight does intensify the colours of pretty much everything slightly. More subdued light in the European countries tend to mellow things out a bit more.....but it is a HOT pink in my eyes !!!

Put your sunglasses on before taking this out of its Green Spydie box
