Zen posted a picture of his EDCs in his pocket. 224477 very quickly identified them as CLB creations.
My question is this. Can you tell a knife by the clip? And. Do you strike up a conversation with the knife carrier?

Most times I can tell what a person is carrying. If I don't know the clip it is most often a junk China knock off. If I recognize the clip I will talk to the person. Occasionally the person has a Benchmade or Spyderco but doesn't know jack about knives and doesn't care to have the conversation.
Most of the time I just walk by and say something like, "hey nice Spyderco" or ....."nice Leek" or whatever. Then if they are interested they talk back. :)
