Post your Online Retailer (for info, not advertising)

#1

Post by Zatx »

I'm looking for online retailers of Spyderco products that can fill the gap when my normal dealer cannot get a particular item. As such, I'm seeking information in the form of links to websites for the dealers our members have found reputable.

Admins: If this post violates the forum rules please delete and accept my apologies. The only thing I found in the rules was :
• Do not post or transmit any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or any other forms of solicitation in Spyderco Forum. This includes the trading and selling of knives or other goods.
My normal dealer I'm loyal to is:

SpydieGuys

I'll continue to edit this post to add links provided here:

I use NGK. (New Graham Knives)
Their service is top notch, shipping is fast and the prices are some of the lowest you will find. ;)

I have used Charity Chimni a LOT and she's a superb lady to deal with.
I can not begin to say how excellent a service she provides, and her vast knowledge of Spyderco is a great help.

I have ordered several times from knivesplus.com and been very happy with service and their prices.

I just ordered from knifecenter.com - my package arrived very quickly. Plus if you subscribe to their newsletter you will get special offers that are listed only in the newsletter.

I ordered once from bestknives.com and was very happy with them too.

I do some ebay too, and spydieguys is great, as you know.

For a Canadian dealer, Warriors & Wonders is very reputable.

Besides Knifecenter and New Graham, I usually go with Savson Swords and Knives savsonswordsandknives.com.

And there are a few ebay sellers that i do trust, i've bought several things from and gotten very good treatment with.

Plus, spyderco.com

Wildeals is great. They have the best prices and the owner is a top notch guy. I once had a problem with a knife and he went out of his way to sort it out. He even checked the rest of his inventory for the problem and made some other returns to the distributors. Very honorable guy.

I got my Delica Wave and Sharpmaker from Knifeworks.

My D'Allara and Tasman Salt both came from Wildeals.

I am very pleased with both sites. I bought from these two mainly because they accept PayPal. I will definately deal with both of them again.

:) On a negative note, I've recently had a very bad experience with Sunset Sales Direct.. maintained by rdarwa. I don't buy a lot off ebay, and I never bid on auctions. I'm not sure what's up, but I received a Negative strike from Ebay after 8 years of buying. They claimed I bought a Spyderco from them and never sent payment. I agree I might have clicked on the "buy now" button, as I often do to get my exact shipping due to some of these people offering cheap prices on products, and then exhorbintant prices on shipping. I never advanced further then that, and never gave them any more info. Now they claim I, "won the auction" and didn't pay, even though there was no auction to begin with. I always pay with PayPal right at the time of purchase....anyway, I would watch these people, they may claim you "won the auction" even though you didn't fill out any info...Just a heads up...........
FWIW, I bought a D'allara, Friday....on Ebay and hope to have it soon! :)

I have used Knifecenter for oh, about 7 years now, and I have always -- always -- been satisfied.

I've heard very very good reviews about New Graham Knives, too, but I have not ordered from them.

I like to use…
http://www.newgraham.com/
http://www.islandtactical.com/

And specifically in Canada, Le Baron is the only online dealer that I have found to have prices competitive with the U.S. stores. (Warriors & Wonders gouges on shipping.)
http://www.lebaron.ca/
They can be difficult to order from, since you are essentially ordering from their catalogue and have no idea what they actually have in stock, but the prices are good.

I also recommend TNK for custom knives.
