There isn’t any symbolism. The sea is the sea. The old man is an old man. The boy is a boy and the fish is a fish. The shark are all sharks no better and no worse. All the symbolism that people say is ****.

I can't show you all my non-spyderco knives...else Deacon wants to camp out at my house for like three weeks with his camera...but it would take him all day just to snap pics of the spydercos...Doc :D

I'm gonna see if I can borrow my sister's camera. I hate lookin at all ya'll pics and never getting to share my own. I don't have much, and what I have ain't impressive, but I do have a few small knives, most of which have some meaning to me.(handed down or given as gifts)

Wow, it just amazes me at times how much people can have different opinions about the same item. Paul, if that is a knife you really like the looks of, then I am guessing you don't like the looks of those below, which I consider stunning?
The blade shape on yours reminds me of the Chokwe we were discussing recently. I wonder if Sal is doing anything with that.

I'm not a huge fan of the Chris Reeves stuff. I either like hand forged rough hewn stuff, weird but utilitarian blades, or super fancy stuff. I like Damascus as it has that rough hewn look but is also fancy and goes well with wood handles and engraved bolsters.

Here is a turn of the (last) century Argentinian 'knife' :)
