I remeber a while back reading about a spydie being worked on called the yojimbo. I didn't notice it in the 2002 line up but then I realized it could be one of the 2 new neck knives, the other being the S.P.O.T. I remember it had a blade similar to a wharcliffe. Any news?

Micheal Janich designed the Yojimbo, and I believe it's a folder. I'm waiting for it to come out to. I can't wait to see what it look's like.

Dear Clay:

Thanks for posting the Ronin pic. I'm putting the finishing touches on an article for Tactical Knives that describes the features of the Ronin. I'm not sure when it will hit, but it should help shed some more light on the concept, which is pretty much the same whether the knife folds or not. Based on recent cutting tests I did at an MBC class, the blade design does everything I wanted it to do -- cut viciously and penetrate almost effortlessly. I can't wait to get a couple of folding ones for myself so I can retire my Tempests.

Reminds me of the bloke who taught me how to build bicycle frames, his surname was "Lemon" and he wondered why nobody would buy bikes with his name on them.
