Jennifer,
Welcom to the forum.
The Terzuola Starmate is the best looking knife I own.
While I generally carry the Military and the Spyderench, I do carry it from time to time.
When not in my pocket, it is displayed on my fireplace mantle.
The Terzuola logo is the Mayan Dragonhead also called the Etz 'Nab. This symbol represents the god of edged weapons.
Bob Turzuoala is a fine knifemaker from the southwest and I had a chance to see him at the New York Custom Knife show last weekend.
Whoever set up the quiz is obviously a Spyderco Affectionado and has provided a thought provoking topic for the rest of us.
I hope you will continue to learn and appreciate knives as useful tools and weapons as we have.

Starting slow,
1.) Mr. Bob Loveless is, not was, one of the best stock removal makers in the business. He is almost solely credited with the dropped hunter, and a major assist in the creation of the Big Bear fighter.
2.) Can only do two here, slip and liner. Slipjoint is your standard non-locking pocketknife. Liner lock actually has a locking bar or liner which slips into place upon opening.
3.) Endura Lt. uses a FRN grip. FRN is short for Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon. Otherwise known as Zytel.
4.) Camillus definitely, also maybe AG Rusell.
5.) The mayan dragon, god of the edge. It's also the masthead on my Spanish textbook.
6.) Unsure, don't own either.
7.) Tough one. The definition of "Tactical folder" varies quite widely. I define it as a knife you would be willing, and able, to deploy in emergency. Spyderco has to qualify as the first modern maker, though switchblades can also fit.
8.) G. Marshall- Smallish knives, mostly folders. Impeccable fit and finish.
Bill Moran- The master of the forge. Almost all fixed blades, extreme rarity and quality.
Bob Loveless- Stock removal, all fixed blades. Great workmanship and even better selling power.
By the way, welcome to Spyderland, Jennifer! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.
