Hi, these are from the Native showcase at the SFO. Some of you may have seen them there, others may not have been lucky enough to make the trip to Golden. Enjoy the pics

Wow. I like them all. I have an OEF CRKT M16-14ZSF that my brother got me in Qatar.
The CF and cast.. nice!

Wow that cast Native is very pretty. The design looks heavily deco inspired, which I love.

I can't figure for the life of me why the bolstered and cf Native have never been made.

With entry level (FRN ) Natives and upgrade SS it only seems logical for a super adjustable pivot CF model . I can only hope someday this will be possible . I would be happy just to see a PE SS Native join the line up in the future very elusive to find . Very nice pics , thank you for sharing them .

Oh, why did you post those pics? I sure would like to have a CF/Bolstered Native!...and the engraved ones and the cast ones, and the..........
It's better to have knife and not need it than to need a knife and not have it.

Jeff - We can always hope, and keep asking, for sprint runs of more high-end Natives. I'd prefer a CF version, but the bolstered model looks good too.

Hanswurst - thanks for the great images!

I am going to have to get my hands on one of those OEF Natives. During both of my tours in Afghanistan, I could only find OIF knives. That would make a really nice display piece.

The more I surf this forum, the more I get hooked on Spydercos. Those were all beautiful.

Unfortunately, Sal's comments don't seem to bode well for the type of upgrades many would like to see.

"The plan would be to bring thge liteweight up to Endura4/Delica4 features. An additional larger size could be possible.

Native development needs to be coordinated with WalMart.

sal"

Focussing on the lightweight version with Walmart as the major marketer is going to eliminate, at a minimum, features such as CF scales or bolsters. The pricepoint for Walmart just won't allow them.

An updated (as per E4/D4) FRN Native would make a great EDC, but it isn't going to beat out my current EDC - a blue G-10 Native. Personally, I keep hoping for more than what Sal's post would have me expect.
