I am new on this forum, so this question may have already been answered. Can someone tell me: How rare is the aluminum handled Civilian with the plain blade? I have heard different numbers, but just wondered if anyone knew for sure! Thanks...

Not near enough!!! I would like to see plain edges as an option on ALL Spyderco models.
