A (brilliant) couple here in in Loveland, Colorado have their overstocked inventory of Genuine Colorado Snow up for bid on Ebay.

Bidding ends on Jan-01-07 at 2:00 PM so act now before their inventory is sold out!

Shipping to the winning bidders is a little non-standard so I'll quote the seller regarding the preferred arrangements
"You can personally pick up your snow any time this week to avoid shipping and handling charges. Bring a dump truck and your own shovels. Otherwise, your snow will arrive in some sort of leak proof container…a jar? (We promise no yellow snow!) Sorry, positively no refunds. Quantities vary."

If this works well for them I may consider selling some of my stock as well...

:p :p :p ;) ;) ;)

That is just darn hilarious. What would make it even more funny is if someone actually bid on it.

It'd probably sell as well as "All Natural Nebraska Fertilizer" :D :p

Actually, that might sell, but it would be a very stinky job to box it up :p

Bidding is closed and the snow has been delivered!

"MILFORD, Conn. AP - This winter has brought record-high temperatures and only scattered flurries across southern New England, but snow finally hit the shoreline town Saturday.

It didn't come from the sky. Mary and Jim Walker, of Loveland, presented about 30 snowballs to the Hansen family of Milford on the city green, after family patriarch Chris Hansen bought them from the Walkers on eBay for $200."

More Here.
