Bug inlay Vesuvius

I just got a Vesuvius. It is a great little knife. The action is smooth and the lockup is solid. There is no play in the knife at all.

The only two things that culd be improved are the top of the ramp and a little bit of sharp flashing.

The serrations on the thumb ramp are perfect. They are the right size and shape. The very top of the ramp should be rounded. It scapeps my hand every time I reach for something in my right front pocket.

There was also some flashing left over from the mold. It was easily taken down with a nail file.

There was a tiny nick in the blade when I recieved the knife but a minute on a sharpener will fix that problem.

A great little knife. Especially for the price.

Do all the FRN Vesuvius knives have the Bug inlay or is it a different model? I saw a picture somewhere in the Forum and it really looks great.

on my Vesuvius you have to be carefl when one hand closing as when the blade folds in it can hit the last spacer and ding the edge of the blade. i found this out the hard way :( this is something that's been eliminated with the Centofante III but i still like the Vesuvius better
