Thank you for the link(s). Nice to see the Gunting in action again :)

I watched Part I and Part II. The blue model of this tool has gripping teeth. Did the Blue Gunting have gripping teeth as well or is this a new addition?

It looks neat although not as neat as the Spyderco...I wonder if this has the quality of the Spyderco Gunting

New feature. The Spyderco Gunting CRMIPT was smooth like the drone.

Besides Bram and perhaps a select few they're actually not available yet. The regular live blade LLC is though.

that I ordered since its taking so long.

the blue one is not even sold to the public yet as far
as I know.

*slaps forehead* ah... I get it now. :)

Still: he states that your fine motor-skills go away when attacked (he's probably right)... but I cant help thinking that you need those skills to "grab" and manipulate your opponent, espescially with the "toothy" gunthing.

Take a look at what I'm wearing, people. You think anybody wants a roundhouse kick to the face while I'm wearing these bad boys?

The LLC's were to start shipping Dec 18th -Jan 5th..
So I doubt anyones waited too long...though it might seem so.
I'm sorry oif its been a long wait.
Pre Orders started in August...my personal LLCs haven't even been packaged up yet..I'm last in line.
But it clearly said Cherusker Messer wasn't shipping till just before Christmas. I see many have their sets already. Pictures are on my site.
I hope you get your set soon..
And no free Blue CRMIPT..sorry...
The LLC CRMIPT..the Blue one works much better than the original.
The proud liners and gripping teeth work well in unfriendly environments and with un cooperative people..
The first pre production runs of CRMIPTs only to LE Academies that have it as official tool.
I've had tens of thousands of hours of research and training time on it and I teach many Security, Police and Military guys to use it.
My teams private Security and US Forces use it overseas....it works fine on Insurgants....CRMIPTS of both old and new versions as well as Live blades.
Yes..it is a gross motor skill tool.
Its designed to be used closed..you hit with it.
Grabbing is a gross skill,,opening is harder and taught..closing or grabbing is instinctive..as with hammering
The VA Admin thinks its the perfect tool for Hospital Security Teams.
Canadas Use of Force Department thinks its the Liability tool they need especially in Corrections..( limits Liability and its ease of use)

No I haven't seen You Toob...you TV or whatever..
I'm sure its pieces out of intro DVD on LLC.

Some people like the Gunting some don't. some like the LLC some don't..
No worries..
Thanks for even discussing my designs..
There are many new members of the Gunting family..the LLC-Lapu Lapu Corto, the Tusok, The SNAG, the DeSangut,Gunt-A-song..the Siko,,,
all Kinetically Opening, Indexing, full force continuum tools.
The Gunting itself will soon rise again as the Gunting2...

be safe

Thanks Bram...I find the concept very interesting indeed and there is a need for such variety in the marketplace...I applaude your efforts even though I am not a Gunting fan I can still appreciate what you are proposing and I like the concepts...maybe I will rethink the Gunting afterall.......I like a man who thinks!...Doc :D

I like the Gunting but there is no way I would try to use it in defence without training.
Maybe the next time I see Bram at Blade he could show me a few moves with one,I have heard that that could hunt a little. ;)
