Engraved Spydies

Looking at some old Spydies today. Tonydahose commented on the old Glasshartt Special Native so thought I'd start a thread on engraved Spydies we might have. For instance:

Image

These is most of Glasshartt special series. Linda Glasshartt was a dealer here back and she prodded Golden into giving us a special break on knives + engraving. Spyderco offers engraving as an aftermarket service and this is one of their more popular designs.

Image

Not positive when the PRCA series was offered. These were sold as you see them by dealers. I do not know if there are other models or if the Q came in PE.

Image

Although the knives are not truly engraved per se, the Gary Blanchard models had after market engraved scales affixed and were sold by directly by Golden when they first came out.

I know there are plenty more out there like the Iraqi Freedom Natives and Enduras, the WTC Rescues donated by Sal to the save and serve folks in the aftermath of 9-11, the Wright-Flyer CoPilot, and others so if you got 'em post some pictures of your engraved Spydies...... :)

The Wright Flyer CoPilot:

Not sure if these were sold by Golden as you see or if someone had a special run of them made but they still show up on E-Bay from time-to-time.

(And yes, the F-16 IS Digital Trouble for anyone who has flown, maintained, or been targeted by one! :D )

Java, OT but did you ever hear what happened with Linda, I remember she was here for a long time and then all of a sudden she was gone.

She and Shawn are still in El Paso as far as I know. I haven't heard from the Lady G in a couple of years. Miss her posts here. She had a pretty good sense of humor putting up with us old Forumites.

Hi Java,
I have the same set of engraved SS models. Bought them from a friend in the UK.
I remember some negative stuff on this forum about Ms. Glasshart. She used to do a lot of business on engraved Spyderco knives. I thought she totally disappeared!
Just wondering.
