I take it from the new lineup and the not-on-the catalog yet knives that the Mini-Mil ain't gonna happen this year.

Is it a dead concept, or is it a maybe?

They where looking for a name for it just a month or two ago, so I am thinking it"s in the works. I also see there is not a butterfly knife in their 2002 line up???

Hi Scolby. The MIL jr is still waiting for a slot. Probably will do a short run in 2002 to work out bugs.

Hi Toolin. It's in the works. Nothing we can show yet.

Thanks Sal. Glad to hear it is not dead.
I like the Military, but it is just too big for me. If it has a compression lock (as discussed earlier) that will be great.

Then leave the G-10 texturing as in the Military, and it may just be perfect.

G-10, CPM-440V, The Millitary styling AND a compression lock ???

That would be an awsome mid/small knife.
Personally I wouldn't shy away at aiming it at the higher end of the market if it meant keeping all the above features. With the reputation of the Military Snr it is sure to be a good seller what ever price point it goes for.

Well, I'd love to see the large Military with the Compression lock, then it would be pretty much "bullet-proof". But, it's one of my favorite Spyderco products, and I always want more for my favorites (just ask my grandson!)
