I just got back from Europe and the GUUNTING was recieved really well over there. CALIBER msagazine of GERMANY is doing a couple of feature stories on it. I actually taught Stefan Perry the Executive Editor how to use the Gunting & Drone. Stefan ws very excited and hes going to show it to the military and the police...Then I went to FRANCE and I met Jean-Jacques Pietraru, the Editor in Chief of EXCALIBUR magazine who also let me teach and demo withhim while he set up a feature story on the GUNTING. The GUNTINGS and I then prodceeded to the PARIS Knife Show where we shared a table with Laci Szabo and Fred Perrin. Fred Perrin really liked the GUNTING and he and NEMO are going to test and review it for their knife publication! Fred bought a few, one for himself...so I guess I made a friend!Fred said hes going to show the Security forces and the military the GUNTING...

Ok so it was worth the jet lag and the expense!NOoooo, no GUNTINGS made the trip back home. They all opted to stay and live in Europe!

Hi Bram. Thanx for the effort. You're the best Gunting saleman there is.

We adjusted the schedule to try to accomodate your SOF show. Very tall order though. If I can pull it off, you owe me one. The whole factory will be doing double back flips for you.

Sal: I guess I owe you..ALOT!...THANKS for all the help on SOF et al.
yes..I AM the best GUNTING sales person..especially if you count the new wave of GUNTINGITES that are forming behind and along side of me.ROFL!!!
CALIBER magazine is hot to shoot t cover and center fold of the GUNTING. They 're waiting on a GUNTING sample to use in the studio...
I ws told that Frederic from EXCALIBUR will meet us in NYC to shoot pictures and "finish" his interview with me and you....
Nemo and Fred await a GUNTING set to fully evaluate and write on it...
Sal..the biggest thing was the DRONE & CRMIPT..places that don't allow knives went crazy over the non knife-knife concept!

BRAM, I know the Gunting is slowly trickling onto the market, but have yet to see the drone or videotape being offered- are they available?
I'd like to get the drone and videotape first before buying the knife.

Hi everyone!
First post on this forum.
BRAM, You made a real great demonstration of the Gunting at the Paris knife show. (even when you were alone, I saw you playing with them !!!).
I am really sad,I could not buy a set (dollar is really high for us poor little french buyers), but as soon as possible it will be mine...
My thumb's getting better, and I think I won't ask you to demonstrate on me!!!
Sal, BRAM did a great job for Spyderco at this show, I wanted you to know.

Bram,

Thanks, your demonstrations are REALLY appreciated! You get a feel for how the model is to be used from Bram's demonstrations that cannot be found elsewhere. Fantastic videos too!

the GUNTING is an MBC Martial Blade Craft knife that comes with a compression lock, spoon clip with indexing point for grip changing: forward to reverse and back, it is the first knife designed to be used closed and it comes in three flavors: Black color GUNTING-live blade, red color DRONE- non cutting fully finctional trainer or blue color CRMIPT_ non cutting full functional impact tool...colors refer to handle and holster color only..all three can do pinching, trapping, locking, striking..takedowns...

Hello from Paris,
ze Gunting iz alzo a excellent utility folder with a great under 3 inches blade (pleasing all the Judges Dredd around...)
Seriously the handle is really confortable for hard cuts and the blade takes a razor edge which is really easy to maintain.
Despites its "specialized" look the Gunting is a friend utility folder and also a very very usefull hammer (like security hammers used to break windows).
Actually we are two in Fred Perrin's Dulling Brigade who have decided to focus on the Gunting as a utility knife, Xavier and I...
I am more than please with way the knife rest in the waist band, is easy to grasp and feel and also how easy it's easy to clean after dirty jobs thanks to its no spacer design...
Hot tap water and the knife is ready to go again.
We are so glade to have found a 3 inches folding blade with such a design.

About the Chinook, Fred is making demonstration of deep slashes and knife throwing with it.
I mean Fred is actually using the Chinook like a fixed blade !!!

cheers,
JM
