Knives Take Lives
It's A Fact - Knives Take Lives
A person who has with them, in a public place, any offensive weapon can commit an offence. IT’S THE LAW

What is an offensive weapon?
An offensive weapon can be many things, including any bladed or sharply pointed instrument. Most knives are offensive weapons. IT’S A FACT!

If found guilty of possession you could be liable to IMPRISOMENT, FINE OR BOTH.

Injure someone and the consequences could be far worse – UP TO LIFE IMPRISOMENT.

Quite simple – there’s no excuse for carrying any kind of weapon.

What can YOU do?
Get rid of them!

Let’s get these offensive weapons off our streets and make North Wales a safer place to live. Hand in any weapons at any Police Station in the bins provided.

Tell us who they are
If you have any information simply call North Wales Police 0845 6071002

knives@north-wales.police.uk or CRIMESTOPPERS – your call will treated as confidential.

NEXT IT WILL BE MARTIAL ARTS!!!! Doc :(

Hey Doc

You have to be careful reposting stuff like this. For a minute I thought you had a dramatic change of heart  ;)

Should I call them and tell them I carry several "evil weapons of death" on me every single day  Between 2 and 4 potential murder weapons, not including whatever heavy object I have within reach, or any pens/pencils that I can get a hold of. Might be worth the long distance call just to piss off idiots.

Morons  Anything can be a weapon if you use it that way. I could turn a peanut into a murder weapon, if the victim is allergic. Does that mean peanuts should be outlawed as well? Cars kill people as well, let's make them illegal  Oh crap, I could strangle someone with my belt, better not carry it in public. Steel toed shoes? Useless unless you're planning on kicking the s*** out of someone, they're now prohibited.

Also, sugar, fat, chocolate can all kill you, so they're illegal now. And you know what, just to be safe, let's outlaw sunlight as well, because it could kill you.

Can't carry lighters or matches anymore either, because someone might start burning buildings down. No legitimate use for a lighter at all, must be a arson tool.

Idiots.

Ok, I'm good now, just had to release some of the sarcasm before I lost my mind...(too late :p )

The REALLY frightening part is that MANY New York politicians, including our newly elected governor, would agree whole-heartedly with that crap and be more than happy to impose restrictions on knife carry as severe as those our colleagues in the UK are forced to live with.

Shucks, I wouldn't even care about stupid British laws if they would just keep them to themselves. If the serfs...excuse me, peasants...I MEAN CITIZENS...whew, finally got the right word out...want to put up with it, that is their business. My problem is they keep exporting stupidity to the US, and our ruling class already have enough lame-brained ideas of their own.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

That really sucks. Dang that makes me mad. I am only a tiny bit happy that it's in the UK and not the US. I hope it never gets stupid enough here to happen.

If it does I will still carry, or I will move out of the country.

knife laws.. i think Israel has the worst ones, if your under 18 you CAN'T carry a knife, locking/ non locking..., if you are over 18 you can carry a knife but a non locking, no automatic, and not over 2.5" blade , there is a guard and a metal detector in ANY store, mall... , if a cop decided to search you he can, I've got searched by cops and undercover cops 4 times in the last 2 years, ones they found a buck rush on me (the rush has a 2.5" blade, AO, liner lock, and I'm 17) i was almost taken to the police station, but after a LONG bagging and explaining that this knife is used as a tool ONLY, they toled me i can go, but this one ended good, my Friend was striped to his underwear one time.

i don't get carry my knives allot because of that, and they don't get it that citizens that can stab someone don't have respect to the law and to other human beings, and if they don't have respect for it so they will not respect any other, new, law, but us, the citizens ho do have respect for the law , are F!*$% be every new law like that.

It's fascist, communist garbage like that which could end up swaying all the cell phone addicts, the Desperate Housewives viewers, the Monkey see, Monkey do type people and just the plain old mealy mouth spineless folks in general which unfortunately now make up a big percentage of people in this country. And it could possibly make that scenerio the Doc recited become a reality in this great country in the near future :( Over my dead and broken body

All the rhetoric aside we really need to be active in Groups like Gun Owners of America ( forget the NRA they are now controlled oppostion), American Knife & Tool Institute and any group who wants to restore the original constitution that our great founding fathers drafted to begin with.

Forget the traditional 2 party system they are both totally controlled by big corporate/fascist interests and completely corrupted. Even though they might throw you a crumb occasionally you can be assured that they are of the mindset that the people who wrote that crap that Doc Snubnose just recited for us. Thanks for making us aware of it DOC. GOD Bless you Sir :)

Well, I guess I should hand my hands in, they can strangle people. Oh, and my feet. Can't have me kicking anyone. Or headbutting someone. What about my blood, with all the blood-borne infections we know of?

The day that happens down here, I'm going to think seriously about moving

To anyone in Britain:
How about putting a sign up against kitchen knives? Or even better, surgeon's scalpels? They're "razor sharp", easily concealable, and can be used as deadly weapons.

Here here! You know what this really is, don't you? It's not a paranoid government trying to rid you of useful and potentially life saving tools because they can be used as a weapon, they just want your knives! The police in the UK are total Knuts and they don't want to admit it, so they put up these boxes everywhere hoping that someone will drop in a UKPK.

Let's fill that bin up with butter knives. I might just move to Texas once I get older, it sounds pretty good right about now.
