Just got an email from him - sounds like he and his family are all ok - but he does have some cleanup to do in the house.

From what he said, the "cleanup" was of things that fell off shelves. From the pictures I've seen, the epicenter was about ten miles off the west coast of the island, and Chad is on the east coast, so it would have been about 80 to 100 miles away. That's far to me, sitting 5000 miles away, but am sure it's "too **** close" when it's your house that's doing the hula.

Thanks Deacon, glad to know Chad's ok. I hadn't read the news today, so I was totally in the dark about this one. Kinda glad actually, I'd rather know the news, and than know everybody's ok, than spend all day worrying.

Chad you got prayers sent your way, and if it were feasible to send construction workers your way to, I'd do it.

Thanks for the updates. That's too bad about his belongings, but at least he and his family are alright.
