I don't mind it that much - we get chinooks here and the last few years the winters have been pretty mild. Only the odd day or so where it got down to -35 deg. C. Don't mind it too much as long as it warmer than -20 Deg C. :) Natural gas pricing was a killer, though

It didn't stick around here but there were a few inches on the ground to the north. 50 miles north the highway was closed for 7 hours after accidents in zero visibility conditions  .
p.s. all you people who like winter are sick, very sick.

Lucky you guys, down here it's 35 C, and then...
Forecast for Saturday
Fine, hot and mostly sunny. Northwest winds freshening and afternoon sea breezes along the coastal fringe, before a late, gusty southerly change.
Precis: Fine. Late change.
Min: 21 Max: 35
Sunday Cloudy. Chance shower or two.
City: Min: 19 Max: 21
Monday Cloudy. Chance shower or two.
City: Min: 14 Max: 21
Tuesday Fine.
City: Min: 15 Max: 24
Wednesday Fine. Late change.
City: Min: 16 Max: 29
Thursday Fine.
City: Min: 19 Max: 25
But then again, we've been having a lot of swings recently. Could be worse, humidity is low at the moment.
Main reason I like winter: you can put more clothes on in the winter. The reverse does not always apply.

Well who (in a snowy place) wants to trade places with me? Here in sunny Southern California we have 2 seasons: "hot" and "less hot." It's been more years than I care to remember since I had a white Christmas, and most of my friends don't even know what REAL snow looks or feels like (man-made resort snow doesn't count). Not trying to rub it in, but the grass ain't always greener on the other side...

I'll trade places! I lived in Arizona for a number of years. We could visit the snow when we wanted to, then go home where it was warm.

We only have two seasons here also - "winter" and "bad tobogganing"

True! Yours is brown and ours is white :)
