Rescue Problems.

When wiping my recently aquired and as yet unused rescue model I noticed a hairline- crack right through the top portion of the thumbhole , was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems or could sugest how this could have happened to a new knife (said knife presently on its way to our local distributor)
