we had "Table lodge" over at Laurel Lodge 237, F.&A.M. earlier this evening. It was a nice meeting of the bretheren, and the members of NJ Grand Lodge. The only negative was the the knive used for the silverware were so dull they couldn't even cut air!! They were that dull!!

Thank God I decide to carry my NEW :spyder: Delica4(50/50)to lodge with me!! It did a great job cutting the prime rib and "twice baked potato". Even passed it to some of my lodge brothers to help them cut their meals!!!

My :spyder: Delica4 paid for itself this evening!!! ;)

Yep, I too use my Spyderco for my food in public! :D

The knives they give us are just soooo dull. People aren't really freaked out when I whip out my knife to carve a steak, they are amazed at how well it works!

BT good save Bro. We were embarrassed last spring when the Steward forgot the keys to the cupboard where the cutlery is stored. As a result the sandwich ring was ripped apart instead of sliced.I have a brand new 4" PE folder in my briefcase for the next time the keys are forgotten.tom.

My waved delica sectioned up alot of breads, etc. at a lunch meeting at work yesterday. My coworkers all know I carry various knives, so I'm the go-to guy when something needs cutting, they tease about how I enjoy it so :o

I know how it is, been there too. Once, it was a SE Delica and the waitress couldn't help noticing "what a knife you have". Yet the tone was a bit ironical, so it was my turn I couldn't help replying "yeah, but this one actually cuts"
