Pink Delica?
Pink Delica?
Well, I've finally gotten my girlfriend interested in Spyderco. She saw a picture of the pink Delica and now she really wants one. As per other threads, I've checked John F. Jensen and Hamonoichiba, but no luck so far. There is one on eBay, but it's not new, and if at all possible I would like to try and get a new one. Or if Sal and crew would be so kind as to whip me up a Salt I in pink, I would be much obliged.
A long detailed search
Good luck because the last new one on ebay went for up around $200. They were discontinued long ago. The pink Crickets are getting rather rare too. It's just going to be a matter of luck I'm afraid.
Long Live the SPYDEREDGE Spyderco Hawkbills RULE!!

Don't want to Hijack, but wouldn't it be the right time for a new pink knife. The D4 would be perfect...

I'd carry one, and my wife would too!!!Michael Cook wrote: :spyder: Sal says all pink knives have been losers. :spyder:
I remember seeing someone suggest on BF that Spyderco release pink Delicas for breast cancer awareness.
I think it would be awesome, and part of the profits could go towards a great cause.
What do you think, Sal? :)

:spyder: I too would like a pink delica. My point was that pink knives have never done well on the business end for Spyderco. :spyder:Axlis wrote:I'd carry one, and my wife would too!!!

Not to hijack, but given the "Lego" nature of the generation 4 Delica and Endura, wonder if it would be feasible and profitable for Spyderco to produce some pink scales and backspacers for the Delica (and possibly the Endura), and market them as spare parts. Am sure the cost of a new black FRN Delica in which ever edge style you prefer, plus a set pink scales, would still be considerably less than the current price an "original" pink one commands.

I think thats a great idea. I know I would sure pick a set of pink scales up for my girlfriend. She loves the SS D4 I got her but I know she would be ecstatic if I got her a FRN D4 and was able to switch the scales to pink. The Deacon wrote:Not to hijack, but given the "Lego" nature of the generation 4 Delica and Endura, wonder if it would be feasible and profitable for Spyderco to produce some pink scales and backspacers for the Delica (and possibly the Endura), and market them as spare parts.
