Where is the 50/50 Military?

As a loyal Spyderco fan, it is my duty to ask, “Where is the 50/50 Military?” I know that many on the forum dislike serrations. Personally, don’t understand why. I have used fully serrated knives for years and find that I can do just about anything required with one. The only exception is skinning critters.

Some of the funniest comments condemning serrations seems to be “can’t cut the cheese.” The answer is simple, just push straight down. Most real concerns center on esthetics and ease of sharpening. Anyway, I don’t want to start a fight over something like this where passions run high. We should thank Sal for the choice. I personally believe that 50/50 may be the best of both worlds, particularly with a blade this long.

So I have to ask, “When can I order a 50/50 Military?” Anyone else want one?

I agree - bring on the 50/50 Military (I have a serrated and really like it) or even 60/40 - with a small serrated section at the pivot end of the blade.

The combo edge is only offered on too few models IMHO

Hi guys. The combination plainedge/serrated edge Military will be available in January of 2002, along with several other models.

Thanx for your suggestions, requests and patience.

AHHHHHHHHHH!
=;-{)> I hate you sal... =;-p

plain edge or combo edge? now I have to *think* if I want a combo edge military, getting one in febuary or so.

too many choices, frying my brain(or at least whats left)... <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...

There was a thread in the last week or so about sharpening CPM 440V (as used on the Military).
