I put my Manix in the washer and dryer just because. The detergent removed the dry lube but boy was that lanyard clean!

Yep, I've put my old AUS8 FRN Delica through the wash a couple of times. The first time, I didn't catch on until I heard the *clunk...clunk...clunk* in the dryer. The second time I caught it before it got to the dryer. At least it was relatively crud free (for a while). Didn't bother the knife at all. :D

my millie went through the dishwasher when I was doing that job for the greeks for 4 months.... every shift I'd send it through before eating with it(after working with chemicals all day)....

my dragonfly WAS on 24/7/365 (august would have been 5yrs of abuse on it), shower and everything.... now my 24/7 carry is the spur and it's gone through the shower a few times...

my 'fly also went into the dishwasher here, my enduras have gone through a few times, my police and lil temp I wash by hand.

Only sent my 'fly through the laundry once, had it clipped IWB. My ss cricket has gone through a few times, again IWB....
I make a habit now of checking everysingle pocket and seam before washing.... the *thunk, thunk, thunk* in the dryer had me wondering the first time it went through.

Only once in the laundry, my grey Calypso Jr., no harm to the knife or the rest of the wash. My Stretch gets washed several times a day, and rinsed off even more often, but it rarely gets more that a quick shake to get rid of the big drops before it goes back in my pocket afterwards.

No Spydies here, but I did once sent my Browning Ice Storm 390 SX through the wash. I caught it in the dryer. The knife came out fine, but it's a liner lock, and the the pocket it was in didn't fair all too well.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

My SaltI I use for kitchen duty goes into the dishwasher all the time.

Personally I haven't forgotten so far to take my Spydies out of my pockets before I put my pants by the loundry.

My son does a very good job on this although it's not with Spydies. he just left the second mobile phone I bought him in his pocket and yes, it went through the whole washing program. One phone survived for 90%(only picture taking is not as good anymore) the second one is completely dead

Two times in a row

My KX06 set and K04 and K05 see the dishwasher nearly every day and I let them dry overnight in there. Wood is still good on the KX06 set. All show some very small rust spots, but that's because I don't do any other maintenance on them (lazy me...)

I washed the manix a few times after doing some yardwork with it. I wash when they get dirty.

Yup, did it once with my ladybug, but I haven't been into spyders for that long. No damage at all and it did make the lanyard nice and soft.

I wash my knives in the sink with soap and water when needed. I've never had any of them go through the dishwasher or clothes washer ever. ;)

I heard stories when the knife opened in the washing machine and cut off all the clothes  Just imagine an open SE Police thumbling together with a few pants and shirts
I used to wash the knives with a neutral detergent, and let it dry, but for more than a year now, the only maintenance my EDC has got is a rinse and shake dry. With those phosphorous bronze washers, it doesn't even need lubrication anymore :)
