I'm in DC this weekend and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good spyderco dealer in the area?

I think that Dicks Sporting Goods carries a couple models (delica II and enduraII) but at msrp, Galyans (who Dicks bought) carried more and sold them at similar prices to New Graham Knives. There used to be a store called Chesapeake Knife and Tool but they just went out business, they were msrp also but had a lot more models. Now I think it is only the odd gun store that will have any and there aren't many of those around our nations capital.

I buy from NGK these days, they're cheap and reliable. Shipping takes two days tops. If any one else knows of a good Spydie source (or any other good knife brand) around here I'd love to know.

Oh also look for gun shows, I know of one that comes to the Dulles area periodically but I'm always working those days...

(sorry I just noticed that you're only in town briefly, in which case there isn't much spyder shopping here... :( )

If you venture to Elkridge, you can check out

Accurate Pawn and Tackle
410-579-1576
Good selection on Spyderco, Benchmade, CRK&T, and some other rare ones, helluva good price.

and

AMH Cutlury

This guy has everything. Over 200 Spyderco models, many discontinued, prices cheaper than Ebay. Custom bowies, William Henry, Case, Sebenza, Benchmade, Kershaw, Ken Onions, Lums, Terzoulas, Cold Steel, Microtech, MOD, Emerson, and every knife under the sun. I would say about 10,000+ knives in that store.
