During the time I was doing some fairly intensive research on throwing knives, it came to my attention that Randall Knives had, at one time, made a folding thrower.



So how about it, Sal? I understand the design difficulties in terms of balance and ability for either handle or blade throwing. I also realize that it would be a smaller knive, maybe something in the 4" range, 7" unfolded.

Hi Kong. We have a patent on a fixed blade thrower. Haven't thought about production yet.

I would question the longevity of a folding thower that was used a lot. the forcs on the lock would be enormous.

Sal, Any prototypes floating around? If you need some serious testers, I will have approx 25 world class Knife Throwers at my range on October 13-14 2000 for the 5th annual American Knife Throwers Alliance National Championships.
