About the spin web

#1

Post by Nicky »

I've already ask if the spin will come with the spyderweb engraved but I didn’t got any answer. It's not really my taste and I want to know if it's produce with it. If yes, will I be able to buy one without the web?

I actually like the web on the Spin very much!! So, perhaps there will be 2 variations of it; one WITH the web on it, and one without?!

I too, am very curious to find out whether the Spin will be available without the webbed handle. It look like a great design but with the engraving it's just not my cup of tea.

The Spin will have the web on it. I'm sorry Nicky, a version without the web is not planned at this time. I'll keep you updated if anything changes.

Yeah, with several really nice designs coming out as liner locks, we may have to form a mob and storm the factory (armed with lefty friendly :spyder: s, of course) :D

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

if the web is a no-no for some of us, they can still polish the thing off.

I like the web as a display piece, but as a user, not so much. That being said I like the look of the web and would like to see it on a few more ss models

Hey Spydutch if the web is laser engraved like the one on my Cricket, I don't recall it having any additional texture (feels smooth).
