Some of those photos look very familiar. Remember the collection being auctioned repeatedly on eBay last year by "violetpilots"?

Im with rock on this, he needs to divide the collection up. This way i can get a few of the knives i want. I say get the collection, but if it means sleeping in your car, perhaps you should stick w/ the pool.

Pools are dangerous. A lot of accedents happened.
Spydercos are good. You can promiss couple of them to your wife.
Sorry, if this is not help.

Who needs a pool, go with the collection ;)

In all seriousness, you could probably break it up and MAKE money off of it. The seller would be smarter to do that.

Worst thing that happens with a pool is you drowned worst thing that happens with a knife is you cut yourself. Cuts heal, drowning not so much. If you have kids and want to keep the wifey happy go with the pool, otherwise enjoy the sharp goodness of the spyder.

Yes I do. At least he's dropped the price another couple of grand. He was at $17-18K or so if I remember correctly. I don't blame him for trying to sell it as a collection, but his price is just ........... a wee bit high.

We could pool our money. If we get 7 people paying 2k each that's a 14k offer and giving a total of 19 knives per person... That would be the total spending of the year for some of us thought but it could give the access to some pretty nice and rare knives.
