What's this knife made for? What's the utility of this special design?
Hunting? fishing? SD?

Thanks,

Moonlight

Those are some great questions, and ones I'd like answered as well. Can we have a pic of the Captain, or is it still under :spyder: -wraps?

The G10, screws and screw holes, and general handle shape give it a really beefy look. I like it. :D

Though I'm having issues with the lock. I'd really like it to be more exposed, like the Cricket's or, to a further extent, the Military's. I like liner locks, but I don't like when you have to really mash your thumb into it to get a grip on it.

Anybody know what the screw right in the middle of the handle is for?

Moonlight -

The purpose of this knife is to cut the little personal parts off of people that set cars on fire......

And I like it! :D

Love the blade. Love the handle. Please tell me it's a compression lock, not a liner lock.

It's a stubby knife, but I'm willing to bet it's d*** near indestructible. It's got a very industrial look to it.

But it's a liner lock, so it won't be on my "to buy" list.

A complete guess:

MBC: Looks comfy in Reverse Grip Edge Out
Check out the triangular set of screws for the clip mount like a millie or a para.

Wish it were tip up and not a liner lock.

Still, looks pretty interesting. Wonder who the designer is. Another little big knife.

I like it too much! The blade kinda reminds me of a mule's face, maybe it's just me....

That blade looks like it will be very useful.

I guess I will be the first to say that I do not like it.
I can't think of any use I would have for that blade shape.

It strikes me as great and wrong , I dont get the front point . I`d prefer more an obvious s curve .

Looks like one that`ll need to be handled to be understood .

Cool pic, and I like the blade shape. Yes, it should be tip up compatable, and I think everybody would like to see a comp. lock. The blade reminds me of one of these Bali's: http://www.edcknives.com/vcom/product_i ... cts_id=654

Is this a Strider Collab.?

Interesting... The first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was the Tracker from Tom Brown:

Now I do like that! And for me, G10, tip down and a liner lock, it will be on my wants list!

Anyone know who designed it? In house Spydie crew or another up and coming designer being given a chance? :D

Kristi posted in an other thread that it's a Jason Breeden collab. To be honest: I've never heard of that guy before :o
