Dunno, but I'd very much like to hear the latest as well... is it confirmed of not? If so how about a rough estimate of how long it's gonna be?

:spyder: Last I heard Sal said no trainer for the Yojimbo. Business decisions need to have first priority. :spyder:

Catalogs are usually finalized months in advance. Last word from "above" :p was not encouraging. I would buy two if they came out though. :spyder:

We've gone "back and forth".

Michael approved of an engineering drawing last week. We going to try to "sqeeze in" a short run. Can't say exactly when though.

Thank god for that, personally it's the spyderco I'm most looking forward too. One question though, will it retain the aggressive serrations on the back of the spine?

It's not likely that the gripping serrations on the spine will be maintained in the drone. In other drones, like the temperance, they were removed.

That's fine. A little quick work with a dremel can fix that up! :) :spyder:

Hi White Cloud,

Wecome to the Spyderco forum.

Usually, the only way to know is when we announce their availability. Although we do schedule, we are working on so many projects at any given time that things get juggled.

Probably the best way is on this forum. Kristi is very good about providing that info.

Any new news on the Yojimbo trainers? With all the new models coming out recently I hope they haven't been forgotten :(
