Walmart is carrying Spydee's!(PIC)

#1

Post by SAUERGLOCKS »

I went by a Walmart to pick up some car cleanin crap today and did my usuall stroll by the knike case where there usually a bunch of crap other than a few CRKT's and BAM! A Spyderco native!!! Best part is the price tag, $39.99! So I did a double take just to make sure I wasnt still under the influence and told the guy I was takin it. He told me they(Walmart) was tryin the Spyderco line out to see if they would sell And that they were infact selling great.

Heres my new :spyder: toy!

Thanks for sharing the pic. The Walmart in my area doesn't have them yet. :(

Ooooops! I guess I should have read a little before posting my "breaking news" Yeah, **** of a deal and hopefully I'll be able to find some other models some day as well!

I guess I should have added that I got it at the Walmart down in Hialeah off the Palmetto&Ocechobee, For all the S. Floridians.

 Really great deal for the S30V steel which has quickly become my favorite steel. I wonder when the CA. walmarts will start carrying them?

It is really hit and miss as to which Walmarts are carrying them right now. Out of 4 in my area, one 1 is carrying them.

Man, I was in Walmart today and would have passed by the knife case had I known earlier. Snooze you lose I guess.

Both Wal-Marts near me carry the Native. Don't worry, I already have one from when they first came out in S30V, so I won't rain on anyone's parade for a month or two by buying them up.

Thanks for the pics Sauerglocks :) . I've been bonding with my Wal-mart Native for the past few days, it's a really really nice knife. It doesn't feel like an FRN Spydie to me, it's light but not flimsy feeling in any way.
