...and man, do my hands hurt!
I've been doing wallclimbing for some months now, and this was the first time I went bouldering. It's so different, much more intense, much heavier on the arms.
I am glad I finally have magnesium powder to dust my hands with.
But I love climbing.

I used to rock climb all the time. I still have all my gear from then. Man I wish I had the flexablity I had then, I would be in the mountians right now. I had to stop after I took my worst fall w/ my best freind on belay. He let me fall a good bit, hurt my back really bad.. We did some pretty complex ascents back then.My Remote Release never left my harness loop. Those where the days.

Took the kids to the indoor wall last week and maybe tomorrow night. Still waiting for my partner to arrange some time off, the ice is coming in now and its fat and blue in many routes. Usually climb more ice than rock, but the kids like rock climbing best.

When I started climbing in '94 I got my first :spyder: . The climbing partners have since slowly disappeared, but the knives are still around!

I climb occasionally, but I can only get to an indoor wall unless I'm visiting friends back home.

I do some climbing as well. Used to get to the indoor wall quite a bit in the winter months and have been doing some ice for the last couple of seasons. The ice is just coming in at one of our local spots, but I hurt my back a month ago and doubt I will be out any time soon.Do a lot of paddling , both WW and sea, for a good portion of the year as well.Put in more than 100 days this season so far , but this back thing stopped it cold turkey. Some guys are really pushing what bouldering is today.

I think it'll be more your arms and fingers that won't be able to hold your weight :D .
And after next week, I'll be out for five weeks due to exams. I can start over again after that, byebye muscles, technique (ahem) and physique.

i also used to climb quite a bit, indoors just as outdoors..
but as mentioned, climbingpartners disappear or have to be get rid off for other reasons, and if not done regularly, meaning at least three times a week, physique, muscles and else that keeps u going, right, is gone.. :D
but climbing is great fun for everyone, from kiddies to the old (and those are sometimes scaringly good!! )!
