Serrated Edge “standard production” SPY27 mule team models in the works.

From the POLL: Should Mule Team purchases be limited to one??? thread.

Hi SWKnight,

Thanx for the explanation. I don't think we'l make too many changes to the current project. Certainly not in the near future.

Increase in numbers, provide a "Standard" Mule, (SPY27) provide the "Standard" Mule in plain and serrated edges. Serrated edges still out a ways.

Some great conversation going on here. I'm proud to be part of the group.

FYI, Spyderco is making a CBN 2 sided stone.

I wonder if this is a new pocket stone, or bench stone :thinking

I thought later he posted that he was referring to the bench stone that is already available.

Nope, he posted yesterday about a new one. I believe he mentioned it a month or so ago as well. I believe it's a new double stuff. Here's the link viewtopic.php?f=2&t=93404&start=360 second post from the bottom.

The literal quote from your link you referred to. I see no distinction regarding bench vs pocket stone. I've missed any other "bomb" from sal anywhere else about this new stone.

Hi T-1000,

We've got a drawing in process and I'll have a hand made prototype in a few weeks. Some training with anything is better for performance than no training.

sal
Very excited for this Sir, nothing but good vibes & energy coming your way from the surprisingly warm northern territories.

Probably not a exactly a real "bombshell", but still interesting info by Sal imo:

"We have been informed that ZDP will still be available, but only in the San Mai laminate. We will use the laminate to replace the solid ZDP models."

(Sal in the "Please tell me about 15V" thread viewtopic.php?f=2&t=94081#p1686725)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

It’s about time it was brought back! Centofante 4 > Centofante 3, in my opinion.

Caly 2.5" would be very interesting - slots right in between the Dragonfly and Calypso Jr.

Eric has discussed the possibility of a custom shop with the Golden Knife-Makers and they seem to like the idea. We'll see what the future holds.
