Poliwog pictures

#1

Post by dalerich »

I received a Poliwog this week and just had to get up some pics. This is a very nice knife. Excellent design and construction. This looks as well executed as my small Sebenza. Great job all of you at Spyderco!!!

Thanks for the Pics, they relaly make me want the Polywog. Those are some great shots! I like the size comparisons; it is actually a bit smaller than I expected.

Thanks for the polliwog pics Dalerich. Does the spine (where the thumb rests) of the wog's blade have any texturing / jimping like the Native's do?

Very nice photos Dalerich! Agree with you that the Poliwog shows excellent fit and finish. It is a very well built knife and is also the first ball lock model that I find easy to close.

Brian, there is no texturing on the spine or choil.

Wow , way smaller then i expected, is it possible to make a picture with the poli in your hand?
I have a native and think it's really small, but looking at the poli it's seems even smaller?
is it like Dodo size, because odly i like the shape of the dodo, both handle and blade ?

Special note for my fellow southpaws, and for any right handed clip haters out there :D Poliwog clip screw takes a #10 Torx driver (two make the job even easier). For the truly adventurous, the same size is used for the pivot, and the three smaller screws all require a #6 Torx driver.

Nice pictures. It does look rather small indeed. Since this is a regular run; are there any plans of a serrated one in the near future?
