Khalsa repair Q

I recently acquired a plain edge Jotsingh Khalsa in a trade and have discovered the blade has LOTS of side to side play in the blade pivot area. I have another Khalsa (serrated) that is very tight, no play at all. Can this be remedied if I send it back to the factory? I like the plain edge Khalsa alot, but the play is very vexing (there's a word I don't often use!) and I'd like it to be the way all my other Spyderso's are; almost perfect!

I had the same problem with mine, and, as reported, it cannot be fixed. The tooling seems to have been in Japan, so you're out of luck. I used the store credit and bumped up a bit for a Chinook (the other end of the folder spectrum), and was very happy. There was a little confusion though, as my knife was originally returned to me with a stock letter claiming it had been abused (for a NIB knife). It turns out they wer undergoing some departmental moves and that was the generic letter they had for returned items. Just a heads up. I'd recommend calling first just to avoid any mix-ups, but in the end, with some patience, they will take care of you.

I now own another Jot, but untill i find a third, it doesn't get used for fear of loosing the only one I have =(
