I must post at the wrong times  . I've never seen that many people on at one time. Of course, I've only been here a couple months, so I have no basis of comparison. 70 people seems like a lot to me, which is about what it is right now.

Maybe I should visit more during the day.

I have noticed a lot of new "faces" as of late and way before the forum knife was announced. This is good!

True greencobra, but in addition to the handful of newcomers, there does seem to be a very high number of "guests" here lately, even at odd hours. Seems like one of two things is going on, either the search engine "spiders" have become more active than usual, or someone is playing kiddy games.

It may also be members who are too lazy to log in (like me) when they're not at their home computer.

I'll check in when I'm at work, or elsewhere, if I get free time. I usually do not log in though, until I get home to post. So I show up as a guest a lot of the time.

Just a thought.

Last night on a certain moment there were 6 members online and more then 50 visitors! that's weird man, what would be the cause of that? The new forumknife?

I guess it's normal to snoop around first the first two or three visits, but just 50 people watching in silence is kinda "weird" :(

Very true my friend ;) I didn't get to where I am today without being a SOS! at SF or elsewhere!

Did you ever see “The rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin”?

It might well have only been shown in the UK. :(

Well, part of the answer may be broadband. I sometimes get on and don't log in untill I see something I want to respond to. And/or I -do- log in and make a few replys, then I hear "Honey, we need more soda", or something like that. then I'm still logged on, but I'm actually off buying Dr. Pepper.
If I realize I have a 9:00am appointment and I'm right in the middle of typing a post, and it's 9:10... ...I jump up and run; I may still either be logged on or about to log on. My computer gets shut off only when needed, so I am one of the ghosts. The evil, prying (possibly covetous) eyes are those of my cat, Bogie, who doesn't have claws as large as those we speak of here :)
I've been logged on all last night, and up to now, but have only just started reading/posting. There are probably a lot of people like me...well, maybe without the nocturnal critter to make people nervous :D
He --is-- watching... :)

Very true my friend ]Can't say that I did, don't watch TV. If they put it on DVD is it worth buying? Keep in mind that, with rare exceptions I cannot stand Monty Python.

Forgot to ask before, Did you ever received your official SFSOSS head gear? Been wearing mine a lot lately...
